SECOND GRADE READING FLUENCY: EXAMINING THE EFFECTS OF AN INTERVENTION PROGRAM ON ORAL READING FLUENCY PROGRESS

"As I progress as an administrator, over the past five years I have seen a gradual decline in PSSA literacy scores. This is not just at the middle school level, but spans kindergarten through grade twelve. The slow but steady decline is the root of my concern and illustrates a growing problem of literacy in schools which demands a response."

"I am at the second step of completing my PhD program, and I still have 100's of miles to go in order to cross the finish line."

"My practicum will analyze and describe the trends in the data for literacy over the past six years in relation to the PSSA exam scores for Armstrong School District and the state of Pennsylvania." Practicum Progress
